We are married!!!!

We are married and it feels so much better than i would have ever thought!  Here is a preview of some of our wedding pictures.  We haven't got them all so when we do we will definitely post some more!

The day has come!!!

The day has come that i give up my single life and move on to the best life desicion that a person can make.  I have met the most beautiful and incredible girl ever.  The past few months i have never been happier than i am now.  And i know this happiness will keep going into the eternities.  I asked Aubree to marry me yesterday and she said yes!!  

You probably want to know how i proposed.  We were walking by the river by the temple.  She knew i had bought the ring that day.  She asked me if i left the ring in the car and i said yes even though it was in my pocket.  We were under a bridge just talking about how happy we both are.  Then she said she had to leave so we better get going.  I said well i have a question to ask you first.  Then i got on one knee and asked her to marry me.  So there is the story.  

We are planning to get married in the Bountiful, Utah temple on March 18th and having a reception in Idaho falls on the 19th.   So anyways life is good and never been happier!!! 

 

I just posted this because lately I have been missing the Cottonwood 20 days! 

Here it is Saturday Again!!

Time flies when you are having fun!   Time has been flying by and i can only credit it to how happy i have been recently.  I have always been a little jealous of people whose life is going great with no regrets and sorrows.  Now that my life is like that...for now....I realize it had to do a lot of my choices that i make.

School is going better than ever.  I am so happy with my decision to switch to accounting.  Yes that is right, i am thankful i am an accounting major!  I am actually really eating it up and enjoying it.

I wish work was the same story.  The only thing i can do is go to work with a positive attitude and it makes it go so much smoother and i am able to handle some of the stresses that come with it.

It is coming up on two months since i have started dating Aubree and i am pretty sure she is where most of my happiness comes!  She is simply amazing and i am one lucky guy.

Walmart is getting old

Working at Walmart is getting old.  Whether it be the stupid customers or the people i work with/for.   i have been there for about a year and three months.  I am well liked because i have a good work ethic.  But i am so sick of putting up with certain people.  There are so many that have the attitude that it doesn't matter if they do anything.  It won't matter thus causing me to take over their responsibility and pretty much running the whole department myself.  And if i ever stop doing their job, and just do my job then i get in trouble because i start slacking, even though i am already overachieving.  Why cant everyone be responsible.  Seriously!!!

What the heck is up with people and letting their kids wear those darn shoes with wheels on the bottom of them.  I was working in Wa-lmart the other day and there ewas a kid that had them that ate it hard.  His mom couldn't believe he fell and looked for something that would have made him trip or slip.  Like it was Wal-marts fault that she lets her dang kid of wheels on his shoes.   She may have felt a little embarrassed when she noticed that i was staring at her with a haha serves you right face!  haha

whats going on and joke of the week

so i already missed a day.  woops.  im already over it.  nothing too new is going on in life.  school is good.  i actually still have all A's.  yes you heard that right Brock still has a 4.0 this semester!  Brockbuster is still growing.  I don't buy movies like i used to but i average buying on once a week. um....

so theres a blond and two brunettes running away from the cops.   They see a barn to hide in.  They run into the barn and each get into a gunny sack.   The cops come running in after them.  They notice the sacks moving.  They figure if they kick them and if they make a noise it is the 3 of them.  One goes up and kicks one with a brunette in it.  The brunette loudly yells, "ruff ruff!"  The cop figures it is just a dog so he doesn't need to worry about it.  Another cop kicks one with the other brunette.  She loudly yells, "meow meow!"  The cop figures it is just a cat so they don't need to worry about it.  Another cop goes up to the third bag with the blond and kicks it.  The blond loudly yells, "POTATOES!!"

Walmart

Wal mart is only a job.  they tell me to think of it as my wal mart but it is by anything but.  I'll be honest.  I hate my job.  If i had a choice it is definitely not what i would be doing.  The reason wal mart is doing so well is they pay their employees crap.  It seems like most days i work way too hard for what i earn.

Short and Sweet Update

So it has been a while since i have let everyone know what is going on.   I started school back up and am studying accounting.  I am still working at walmart in the produce section.  I dont love it but it is a job.  I started dating a girl named Aubree.   I might be bias a little bit but she is the neatest girl I have ever met. Other than that life is pretty much the same.

Roundabouts

Why do people stop at a roundabout?  isn't the point of roundabouts to increase the flow of traffic.   Roundabouts replaced four way stops.  Another word for a roundabout is a 4-way YIELD.  Seriously why cant people get this into their head.

Joke of The Week!

Considering the crappy economy and how greedy us Americans are i thought this was appropriate  :)

Reaching the end of a job interview, the Human Resources Officer asked a young Engineer fresh out of MIT, "And what starting salary were you looking for?"

The Engineer replies, "In the region of $125,000 a year, depending on the benefits package."

The interviewer enquires, "Well, what would you say to a package of 5-weeks vacation, 14 paid holidays, full medical and dental, company matching retirement fund to 50% of salary, and a company car leased every 2 years say, a red Corvette?"

The Engineer sits up straight and says, "Wow! Are you kidding?"

And the interviewer replies, "Yeah, but you started it."

PS   I have no idea who this guy is but it looks like he thinks the joke is funny!!

Working at Walmart

School is out for summer!!!

Well it has been a long while since i updated this thing. I finished up another semester at EITC. I did really well actually. I think my GPA is around a 3.6 now. Yeah that is right Brock has good grades :) Right now all my time is spent working at Wal-mart. I am only part time but i am getting about 34 hours a week. The job really sucks but i cant complain too much because at least i am employed. And there is hardly a day that goes by that i see people of wal-mart in real life. Sometimes i have to go in the back room and laugh at the way some people look. Either laugh or throw up. Other than work i really don't do anything else sadly. The only social life i have is on facebook. Sad i know.
